A good start, now you need to keep looking for a Gran Criterium.

Looks nice!
So give us the scoop, I am not that familiar with Masi other than GC, what model is this? Year? USA or Italy?
I need to get on the early 70's Italian GC that I bought a few years ago, the one dressed up as a Guerciotti....

Very Nice!! A much underrated bike. The Nuova Strada was probably made by the Bilato's. It has really nice details, as nice as a GC. Cinelli bottom bracket with am "M" cutout, cast lugs with hearts, all Columbus tubing, slx/sp. A chromed semi-sloping fork with Columbus tubing and Campy dropouts. Masi engraved seat stay caps, brake bridge, fork crown. Chrome chainstay and I even think the whole frame is chromed. The paint is American and very high quality at least on my 20 year old frame.
In addition the geometry on this is one my favorites for a 50cm bike. 75 st 73 ht and a 515mm top tube. A very smooth ride with great handling but admittedly not the stiffest frame out there. Oh yes and it was made in ITALY!
Enjoy it!!!! don't let anyone talk you into think this is so inferior to a GC.
Here is a pic of mine.
