Spoke with Heart Logo. Maker?
Re: 1972 Motobecane Grand Record.
The spokes have a Heart logo on them, does anyone know who the manufacturer was?
Also the spokes have a dull gray appearance with no rust, would they have a zinc coating?
There is a database of spoke logos on the net, does anyone know the URL?
Thanks

that's a new mark to me, might be a variation of a clover, which was a Berg-Union logo, (made in Switzerland). But that's a stretch. I don't know of an online image database, but if there is one I'd like to see it and hope it could be duplicated on Velobase.
Yes, a dull gray coating is most likely zinc-plating (AKA galvanized) on steel.
