What threading is this BB?

Maybe I should check the road forum, but I have a feeling you guys will still be more helpful on this sealed BB. Anywho, it says the following things BB-UN73, 68, and BC1.37x24. A quick online search came up with a lot of them for sale, but none of the things seemed to tell about the threading. I've tried to thread it into 3 bikes to see if it fit, 2 of which I'm sure were whatever Japanese bikes used(Miyata and Cierra), and the other was a bike made in the UK in 74(Ellis-Briggs). This BB won't thread into any of those.

Hmm... I guess I'll have to go try threading it into the Miyata again.

Careful. The Miyata might have Japanese threading.

Weird. It went right in. I don't know why it wouldn't before. I even fiddled around trying to get it to thread in ~4 times before deciding it wouldn't work. Not sure what the problem was. I'm glad it works, though, since it's perfect for the Miyata 914 frame I just bought!

Thanks Neal!

The threads don't always seem to be well terminated on those cartridges... brand new out of the box and I've had trouble getting it started.

At least they are cheap.

Indeed, at least they are cheap. This one came free as far as I'm concerned, so even better. I bought an early 90s Shimano 600 group that someone had just built a bike with and he threw in the basically new BB and cassette because he was selling the frame and wheel-set separately anyway. The only problem I'm having now is that I was going to sell the 600 group, but I just got a 91' Miyata 914 frame-set yesterday and the 600 would go perfectly on it. All things considered, I'd end up with a period correct Miyata 914 in good condition with a Really good condition 600 drive-train, the bike only needing wheels, and only $80 in so far. If I keep that 600, I could have a nice bike to ride for maybe ~$150-200. Grrr... I hate these situations.
