OT - Ebay Question

I just sold some stuff on Ebay to an in-state buyer. He is likely to do a local pick up. I've not done this before. I'm not a store, just a guy selling some stuff.

Do I have to charge him sales tax? Or is this not my concern?

Depends.

If it is a business, yes.

If it is not a businees, no.

That's what I thought but wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

If you are a part time seller I would think your "revenooers" would have a hard time pinging you. If you have 1000 items on eBay all the time you might be in trouble. Think garage sale.
