Raleigh Record, Mark 4, or...?
Hi all, this is my first post here, been lurking for quite awhile
Hope this post is in the right place, or should it be in the appraisals?? Apologies if so
Anyway,
I have two bikes I have trouble identifying.
This first should be a Record, which I bought in Jan,(quite obviously by the name). It has original paintwork(according to the seller), and campy dropouts, full 531 and a chromed fork. A real smooth and comfy ride, though most parts are not original(mix of shimano 600 and other non-series)
For some reason I cant upload attachments, so here goes:

Other for the dent, its in quite fabulous condition for an original paintwork.
The next one should be a mark 4 according to a friend, and with original paint too. Campy dropouts. This is with a seller, and I went over to view it today.

Could it be the same bike as here:?

A few more things, is the Mark 4 and Mark 4 professional the same thing? and which one is the above?
If I were to get the Mark 4, I would have to sell the other one, so, which one should I keep? According to the serials I think both were made in the Worksop factory.
Dropouts: Does Campy dropouts=high quality bike
Finally, is there any major difference in build quality/ quality in general i.e which is higher end?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

Thanks!
Im on the other side of the world, in Singapore, the first bike was brought in in the 80s from the UK, changed hands twice and is now with me. The first owner is too old to ride now and the 2nd got tired of it.
There are high end and low end Records?
Im not sure how many mark IVs and Records came with campy dropouts.
Hoping to find out more about the Mark IV, according to sheldonbrown there was a model called the Mark IV Professional, is this any different from a regular Mark IV, or are they the same thing?

Well, that first bike is definitely of racing background, where mine was just one of the cheaper road bikes available in the late 70s, as my dad bought it in college. That 1976 yellow number looks to be my exact bike. Ironically I just rewrapped my handlebars in creme. Ha.
I'm sure there's some more knowledgeable people than me that can fill in the blanks.
edit: Catalog from 1976. That might help you out a bit.

I dont think its the same model. The record frame is from 79, and I found out from the raleigh yahoo groups that that was a model made for France/Europe, and its equivalent to the Competition GS
For the second "Mark IV", its actually a Mark V Professional, a rather high end racing frame.
