650W Rim

I was at the bike shop today and picked up one NOS, Mavic Ma40 700c 32h. They also had a 32h Ma40 650W rim. Would you believe it's much bigger than a 700c rim? I was shocked, so much so I am going to pick it up tomorrow. Will post pictures. Anybody else have info on a 650W rim?

Interesting, that thread suggests that there's a 27" version, could that be what it is? On the other hand, I wouldn't say a 27" rim is much bigger than a 700c...

It could be a 27" version. We will all find out Saturday. Sad there's only one. The shop has been clearing out some of their old inventory. Oh, and the 650W rim is NOS, too.

Just read some of those threads, if it is a 27" Ma40, it would be a rare rim for sure.

Just checked VeloBase. Nothing on the Ma40 650W. I'm excited, I'm going to be able to add a new Mavic Rim to their list.
