The old YMCA building was open for tours this weekend, trying to raise awarness and keep it from being demolished. It really does need a lot of work, but then again, how many buildings are still around that have this much thought built in?

I heard it's fun to stay there. Awesome tiles, reminds me of my high school where the corridors are lined with tiles like that.

Belated congratulations! I hope all is going well. In the few pictures that I have seen of you, i'd have to say I see a major resemblance.

Went for a nice 73* windless ride on Veteran's Day.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_...0/IMG_2965.JPG Stopped in Marshallberg, NC https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-P...0/IMG_2966.JPG Then shined them up for the next ride. A relaxed with a beer after 18 miles and a whopping 7' of elevation gain.... https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-l...0/IMG_2962.JPG |
Funny timing Cobrabyte, our old YMCA actually IS being ripped down. It's nowhere near as cool as the Florida version.
Here is a picture I took a couple weeks ago. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8046/8...fcce783a_b.jpg DSC00814 by mkeller234, on Flickr |
I should have posted this yesterday, but this is my son swearing in to the Air Force about a month ago (he is on delayed entry and will ship out in Jan.). Pretty proud poppa here.

Thanks for posting this on the 14th of Movember, it only leaves me 16 days to contribute. It won't look great, but should look better than all that pink I had to wear last month.

It's the ham that eats like a cake. It's hamcake!

The Middle Eastern market near my office was baking pita bread in their wood fired oven when I stopped by this afternoon, you can see a few of them inside.

Hit the LBS today to find a "NEW" used axle for my Torpado build up as the last one had a toasted cone and they could not match it. Found these trinkets in the used bin and HAD to bring them home too. I MAY have to build up some wheels for the Torpado with them....in my spare time.

I have had the passion for the sport of motorcycle TRIALS since the early 1970s. I was the 1993 USA senior national champion. This photo of me and my 1993 GasGas GT25-T (256cc) at the Stoney Lonesome Trials in September 2012. My first competition since my retirement in July1997. — at Columbus Indiana Stoney Lonesome Motorcycle Club.
