Enough with the snow already. 30 degrees and cloudy out, but braved the (plowed) bike path anyway.

We are starting to get notices that businesses are closing early due to heavy snowfall warnings...

From work, I am 5 miles to Salem Lake here in Kernersville. I get off at 3 so have enough time for couple laps around the lake. 1 lap=7 miles

Been riding the High Plains lately Was in the low 60's and sunny ! Got to try out the new brass crane bell and the clip setup. Both were great.

A few years ago, I scored a nice (locally made) Vicious frame on Craigslist. It was in severe neglect, but, made from Ritchey Nitanium and a former "team" frame. I brought it back to it's place of birth, and had Carl add a disc brake, repaint, and fresh decals. I'm so stoked to build it up! Quickie cell phone pictures:

Medium Metallic Lime

Forks he makes (I'll be using one of these!):

That is really cool. I'm guessing it would have used the metal type like this:

Looks like a small job press, Really impressive machines in their day. Like the compositor's stick as well.

That's no accident, he used three coats of amber shellac to match the bike...
