Yes, it has something to do with the bird.

My kitty cat some how caught this wild tufted-titmouse on the mostly enclosed back porch, ran in the house with it in her mouth, the tit-mouse escaped from her mouth and flew into the bike room, and the bird landed on the bike wheel- where it has been resting for 15 minutes.
The door is wide open, but it likes the bikes (best guess).

After 30 minutes, it found the door.
