Here are a couple of items in the expat aisle of Fairway Harlem. If you're Irish, I guess you gotta have your Batchelors Mushy Peas. And if you're British, you gotta have your Spotted D!ck.

One of three Frank Lloyd Wright "Usonian" homes in Canton. Great house, crummy picture. It's next door to Thurman Munson's house... which is not nearly as photo worthy (in my opinion).
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7378/9...27dbe228_b.jpg Same ride, we stopped and got pizza. Here my daughter is saying "Cheese" http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3785/9...130308cc_c.jpg It was good, and only 7 dollars for a large. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3791/9...dcd4c739_c.jpg |

Had the gitane out yesterday, was asked to borrow it for some photos. Didn't really know what I was in for.

Katy Trail in Missouri. My boss said it looked like I was waiting for an invisible train. Actually it was a ghost train...headed for Casper...

I've begun receiving my crapload of boxes from all over the world (recent Ebay purchases). Vintage toys and - of course - bike stuff :)
Got these from a seller in Vienna; came with a spare set of unused tubulars and rim tape to boot: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7434/9...dae6ac31_b.jpg http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2884/9...e170618c_b.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3798/9...c6fa8ceb_b.jpg Hubs are OMAS, rims are FIR EA 65s. They're destined to complete the fully-pantographed theme of this: http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5126/5...a487d1fd_b.jpg DD |
^That's a wicked set of hubs Jeff!

What's wrong with this picture?

Yes, it has something to do with the bird.
My kitty cat some how caught this wild tufted-titmouse on the mostly enclosed back porch, ran in the house with it in her mouth, the tit-mouse escaped from her mouth and flew into the bike room, and the bird landed on the bike wheel- where it has been resting for 15 minutes. The door is wide open, but it likes the bikes (best guess). After 30 minutes, it found the door. |
