Love the white tires.

I saw cobrabyte's photo of the night blooming cereus a few days ago and thought it looked a lot like a gangly epiphytic cactus that's growing on an old ficus tree near the entrance to my community. I stopped by to have a closer look last weekend during the day and sure enough, there were dozens of wilted flowers hanging down.

I took a ride over last night, and was happy to see several flowers in blossom, and snapped some photos. The lowest ones were about 8 feet up, and I could see flowers way up in the canopy! I'm planning to take some clippings from this plant after the flowering season is over, thanks to cobrabyte for turning me onto this cool plant!

Man looks like a great bloom! You're lucky to have caught it, I had to keep checking the one by my place for a few days so I could get a shot of it. These only bloom for a very short time (some for only one night a year)
Cool how a ugly little viney cactus can make some of the prettiest flowers. There's probably a deep meaning to that somehow lol
You shouldn't have much problem getting a cutting to take root if you clip it in a few weeks good luck! :)

In my travels today I found out how to build a home made rack :thumb:

From the "Pit" of the 12 hour race... my team was riding a Specialized Tarmac, Scott Speedster, and a Scattante.

My 1984 Focus. NOTE: I had the 2nd fastest lap of my team, and the fastest on my team beat me by 1 minute.

This one has been blooming for over a week since I first noticed it, it seems to be pretty happy about all the rain we've been having. There may well be more than one plant growing on this tree.

Thanks! My best lap was the one when I rode with you and Badda to checkpoint 1!

Wondering how many times this bike may have found it's way here since 1951... the Commodore has been serving up the city's best breakfast since 1942.

A few things here are set aside/getting cleaned up for the new bike project while others are drillium or rehab jobs. The four sets of SL/SR pedals are all getting newly-refinished barrels, complete bearing overhauls and some new black enamel to clean up some scratching. One pair has quills that are fairly mangled, so those will be converted to pista :)

Looks nice. Is that a tortek rear rack? Those things sure were hard to get in the States.

I was curious about what was under the duct tape to hold the shape, but the owner wasn't nearby so I couldn't ask questions.

Probably used Priority Mail boxes discarded during the course of the BOC game :)

My little buddy "Jupiter"... met him on the bike path last spring when he was not even tall enough to walk through the grass and I see him nearly every day on my commute.
