I took a ride in the country on Friday and passed through the hamlet of Alligerville. I like that name.

This past Monday on a gorgeous day in Dallas I was able to get in a longish ride around the city.

I am always amazed at the size, scope and attention to detail of these cowboy & longhorn cattle drive sculptures near the Dallas Convention Center.

My 60cm bike gives you an idea of the size.

I have to say that my wife and I have fallen in love with greyhounds, and sighthounds in general. I am surprised, though, at how different our saluki pup is from greyhounds...behavior-wise, I mean.

Is that Mt Olympus and Neff's Canyon in the background? Nice.

My distance vision has been deteriorating for the last ten years or so. I finally got my first pair of glasses this week. The world is such an intricately detailed and beautiful place!

Yes sir, that's Mt. Olympus in the background. I climbed the summit 2 weeks ago and it was covered in snow, amazing stuff. It was a lot of fun.

The problem with showing your bike off at your work is I did not even see your bike in the picture. That chamber is wild.

My work backdrops help boost my average coolness bikes to higher levels of coolness.:p
