My wife and I took a ride around Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg and Boonsboro MD. today. What a gorgeous day!

She's not much into the vintage rides, but loves riding her Synapse(whatever gets her out with me).

I saw quite a few bluebonnets in my neck of the woods as well.

Also some real longhorns. Notice the one on the right scratching against a tree.

Don't have anything bike related to offer up. And hope this isn't so off-topic it rankles. Returned a while ago from a week and a half in Germany where I got to see my elderly brother in his small village up north, and visit Berlin, a fantastic city. Saw much great art but the highlight for me was the Brucke Museum on the outskirts of the city, and seeing my all time favorite art, German Expressionism.
Including this wonderful E.L. Kirchner. Sorry there's no bike involved.

Nice pics, Brandenjs. Funny to see how much has changed on these Cannondales, but more so how much stayed the same. That black batman bike looks great "in the wild". btw good to see that it's good riding around such a historical site, I should remember that for when I finally get stateside and finally visit all those places I've been studying about for the past few years.

Thanks, look me up when you get back. The riding in this area is great. There are all kinds of historic sites to ride through. We did a 20 mile ride with 1500 ft of climbing, but could have easily added another 25 miles and 4000 ft of climbing. And yes the Black Lightning is getting some good miles this year and the metallic in the paint really lights up in the sun.

The car is an original California owner '83 Volvo DL in mint condition.

In two weeks I will be in NYC and visiting the Neue Galerie's "Degenerate Art: The Attack on Modern Art in Nazi Germany, 1937"
Fabulous work. I would love to visit Berlin.

Great photo, Glass House Mountains off in the distance. I spent a few years in Brisabane living and working in Enoggera. Good times. Where was this photo taken?
