Went to my parents for Easter weekend - always can be a treasure hunt. While getting ready for some target shooting I noticed a speaker in the shed. Found the other one in the garage - early 70's Fisher XP-65. Then found a Ford dealer promo model of a 1961 Ford Galaxie in the basement store room and my dad sent me home with one of his 1950 Ford Crestliner die cast cars. Nice weekend in many ways.

Great finds, Scozim. I love the grille cloth they used on old speakers. Solid mahogany cabinets?
And the Fords are cool too.

Great pics, yardbent! looks like a nice riding area. I'm planning a trip to Scotland for september, seems like I must find a way to bring the bike :)

if you wish to tour, i would suggest a rental car giving you access up the west coast via Rannoch Moor into the Highlands, then across the country to the east coast [ visiting as many distillery's as you can.]

only drink single Malts..!

the lowlands and Speyside malts are quite 'soft' whereas the malts from the west coast and the islands [Islay] tend to be quite strong and 'peaty' - an acquired taste.

my fav is ''The Macallan'' and ''Dalwhinnie''.......................good luck

PS
dont forget Holland is quite flat - we have a lot of hills.!

From the specs I've found the cabinets are walnut. They've got a great sound for my jazz cd's. Rock n' Roll is a little tinny sounding. Country is ok. But, I'm good with that - love listening to jazz.

60's px I've been working on for several years. It might actually be a bike again sometime soon.

In Sedona, AZ on Friday. I haven't been back since 2008. Forgot how beautiful it is.

Taken from the Tower of Kärnan in Helsingborg, Sweden. The Danish city of Helsingør can be seen in the distance.

Next week I think I'm going to take my bike on the train and take the ferry to the Danish side of the Öresund, if my bikes get here this week as planned.

Spending the week in Charleston, SC. Lots of C&V bikes here, including these spotted in the courtyard where we were having coffee.

I've seen this Mondrian Volvo around town, but never while I had my Look with me. Finally a photo op presented itself:
