Come stay with us! I'd love to show you around. In fact, another BF member and I are going to start running bike tours of the city. I don't know how long it will take to get them off the ground.

I'd be very interested in knowing how close or far it comes to your expectations. Most people who visit have a great time.

I'm getting a white sheet to hang on the flag pole. I dunno if it will do any good...

It would be an honor to ride with you!

Very nice rides. I am glad to see yet another French C&V enthusiast in NYC!

Thank you! It's a pleasure owning them, and the PSN-10 (which is mine; the Mixte belongs to my wife) is a great rider.

Avoiding major injury.

I want to ride this season. :)

Really a beautiful area though. We had a blast.

No longer a bicycle shop. Wasn't 25 years ago ether... if I remember correctly. It used to be a foreign sports car repair shop. I think it is empty or storage now. Here is the google view: https://www.google.com/maps/place/37...!6m1!1e1?hl=en

For the record... there are a couple other nice shops in the area.

I can help but wonder if Pete could be any relation the DiSalvo restaurant more or less just around the corner.

It wasn't much of a bike picture but seemed to improved with a PS filter applied. This is under the Aurora Bridge on the Burke Gilman for you Seattleites. Hope you like it.

Our new shop supervisor Polly... she showed up as a stray and we will try not to set this one on fire. The old shop cat always had a little bit of singed fur as she was always underfoot and it is pretty hard to stomp out a burning cat.

;)

Polydactyl cats are also considered to be good luck and this is how she got her name... she has some big boots on her.

Great pics.

Enjoy, as they grow up so quickly.

Bike isn't C or V, but the scenery is very classic. So Cal high desert after decent rain. Doesn't last long, but it has been spectacular.

To true. This was his first ride of the year, he came storming out of the gate. He is understanding how to better use his gears and how to handle the bike at speed. He is gaining confidence and in another few years I imagine he will start dropping me like a hot potato. He hates the hills so I will still have that for a while.

I'm holding off on the cycling for now until I see how my issues improve (or not). I've felt very near to giving up riding recently (physical issues).

Since I can't give up walking, I've been hiking with lots of altitude gain in the past couple weeks. These were taken on the Mountain Loop Highway yesterday - 6 hours and 10 miles of hiking. Yeah, I'm pretty beat today!

Rainy and snowy and I should've been miserable, but no. Maybe on a bike, but hiking in crappy weather is a completely different animal; at least it is for me.

They have a nice collection of Ed's work and a recreation of his studio. Recommended if you're visiting Chicago.

Thanks for that!
