My wife, who is Chinese, has a saying that she says whenever we break something. But I couldn't begin to spell it.
In short, it's good luck. And her mother and I are especially happy about breaking something when Grace is traveling.

California Condor at Bitter Creek NWR.

I can't see the pic. I thought the have been extinct since the seventies.

In the late 70's the remaining wild Condor's were captured and kept at the San Diego and LA Zoo's. There are now 250+ in the wild between the Tehachapi Mountains, Big Sur, and the Pinnacles region in California, a population at the Grand Canyon, and another in the Sierra San Pedro Martir in Baja California.

I am lucky enough to have seen wild Condor's before the breeding program and after.

Wild turkeys
