Ha! Okay...I have to admit when I saw this I thought it was a "Je suis Paris" kinda statement following the events in France. Whoops. :)

In short, it's good luck. And her mother and I are especially happy about breaking something when Grace is traveling.
Which she does all the time.

In the late 70's the remaining wild Condor's were captured and kept at the San Diego and LA Zoo's. There are now 250+ in the wild between the Tehachapi Mountains, Big Sur, and the Pinnacles region in California, a population at the Grand Canyon, and another in the Sierra San Pedro Martir in Baja California.

I am lucky enough to have seen wild Condor's before the breeding program and after.

He's around. Perhaps he'll chime in and answer for himself :)

I did a shopping trip last week and stopped at three supermarkets. I've decided I'm not going to do that again.

Wild turkeys

There were six turkeys walking along the road.
When they saw me, they headed for the woods.
They were 'talking' among themselves.
When I started to make similar sounds, they stopped, turned back, and started to talk to me.

In the middle of Seattle's winter-ish gloom, I often miss the Monterey Bay. I was SantaCruzin for almost 20 years = '85 - '04.

He was looking for a missing chicken, and found a guilty looking hawk. "Who, me?"
