Can't be the basil-parsley because the one looks to be spelled just like the other.
I'll ask my wife Mary Jane..maybe she'll know.

One of the best smallmouth and walleye fisheries in the entire state.

Too dangerous on the water atm, with all the rain up north.

DQRider Your photos are always magnificent. I will be heading up to those parts next month on a road trip. Hopefully I can meet up with some of you locals for a ride.

Just let us know ahead of time, so we can arrange some decent weather... :p

Continuing the weather related theme, "anvil-top" over Lake Michigan.

I love this thread! thinktubes Amazingly this photo makes me think of Florida! Michigan is looking more and more like a must see destination.
This is just a shot from my commute.

A couple of shots from a solo 32-mile gravel ride in Warren County, Indiana on Sunday. 1,100 feet of climbing, awesome descents, great scenery, a thunderstorm, a flat, encounters with both dogs and law enforcement and, above all, a route that was at least 85% gravel. I wish I'd gotten more photos, but just getting back to my car was job #1.

Speaking of dogs...

At the risk of exceeding the cuteness quotient of this thread, I present our dog, Master Bailey Underfoot, aka The Wudge:
(Don't ask, I've been sworn to secrecy!)

pedaling back from the grocery store yesterday evening, the clouds were looking especially puffy and attractive...

Whoa, I had forgotten that exists. And I've got, like, six bikes listed myself. Nary a peep since last summer. I better go back and make sure I haven't already sold the bikes I have on there

Sunday hiking with my three girls and a friend up to Hurricane Hill, which I had the pleasure of riding down from, without having had to ride up to it. The trailhead (just past Hurricane Ridge) starts at about 5200 feet and gains another 800 or so in a short mile and a half.

No, I think he's a burglar alarm tech, and was making a service call ;)

And here I was thinking he toured the set of The Walking Dead.

I love shots like these. There's a whole collection on an old hard-drive somewhere of the same kind of thing, only with motorcycles, that I shot during my "Backroads Diary" days. I think some of them are still on the web.

One in particular I remember in North Dakota was of an old bank like the one above, but it had a sign out front that said "Liquor, Guns, and Ammo". They had turned it into a saloon, and all the ordnance was kept in the old bank vault. The menu was on a large chalkboard, drinks and food on the right, guns and ammo on the left.

And this was in 2004. Maybe if we elect Trump, the whole country will be like that again? :roflmao2:

Lascauxcaveman 07-19-16 09:54 PM

We're pretty close to that already. Isn't it wonderful? :/
