CL Super Post

I was cruising the local CL and stumbled upon the ultimate C&V post:

https://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/bik/2611446002.html

I haven't seen so much beautiful steel (+ a little CF) in one post before. The prices aren't affordable but in most cases they are fair.

Enjoy!

Edit: and then I found his Picasa album...https://picasaweb.google.com/1083119...NXHQ_6YlD98xNQ

Bikes: old ones

Christ almighty on a donkey..........and at least three are my size.

I wonder what the story is behind that unridden Vent Noir?
I'd love to be its new owner, but not $2000 worth of love to be.

Took me a couple tries to find the Puch: https://picasaweb.google.com/1083119...EdDuraAce2000#

In all honesty, the black DA bits are pretty ba, but in general the bike just doesn't get me. Flat finishes don't do a thing for me. The collection is impressive for sure though.

I agree, I've never liked the flat black ... if it were shiny it would be incredibly beautiful. Although the asking price seems a bit steep in my opinion .. it looks to be in pristine condition.

I have to agree that the $2K price tag on that one is a bit steep. I almost get the feeling that it was one of his personal favourites which may have helped set the price. He actually has a few other posts up with more modern bikes that can be seen in the Picasa photos. Either way it is quite an impressive collection.

Thanks for the link to the Puch. I happen to really like flat paint at least as much as shiny, and that one is especially nice.
