Bikes: Enough bikes...for today!

Never mind, I want a robot to ride my bike so I can devote my time to less strenuous matters.

I said re-invent the wheel, no invent electricity...

My point being, cable brakes work and have been working excellent for decades and this guy is simply over thinking and inventing something that we already have and do not need.

It would be like trying go find a better way to chew food or breath. It's moot.

Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

I don't even see the point of those wireless bike computers. There's so much that goes wrong with them than with the wired ones.

That's not fair, you read the article. What would happen to BF if posters actually started reading the article before spouting forth? BF would be reduced to intelligent discourse based on fact.

It's not like the principal investigator said anything like

'The wireless bicycle brake gives us the necessary playground to optimise methods for operation in much more complex systems.'

I take it you have no clue about research and development.

Your point is that you are clueless??? Why would you make that point?

The first car was slower, more costly, less manueverable and less durable than a horse. How many buggy whips do you own? The Wright brothers didn't invent a 747. Did you enjoy your last flight with the wind through your hair, in the prone position? Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic. It was invented in the 1950s. There was no use for it and was never used. Come the 1990s and bacterial resistance, it is the greatest thing.

As for a better way to chew, ask what a toothless person thinks of these,

And for a better way to breathe, ask someone with their lungs shut down to breathe without this,

Enjoy your moot life.
