Here is a scan from a magazine article on one. Underrated bikes, and very good parts group. I looked at one last summer, but the seller would not budge on price, and the size was too small for me.

Very familar with that link but thank you anyhow I have a 79 2500 GT that almost matches the one in the link but this in the kitchen is a very different beast the cable guides are not clamps they're actually brazed on the frame itself.. and the fluted seatstay is really throwing me off here.

She is indeed a beauty minor rust and a few scrapes etc, but I think you'll see tomorrow especially if I remember to borrow the high rez camera at work.

The front is also a cyclone actually
I'm quite pleased with this bike.. I'm fairly confident now it's a 2500 but the question is now competition or grand tour... I gotta throw my vittoria's on it and adjust the brakes minorly and then tomorrow I might go for the first ride...anyone know what the heck the deal is with the black plastic on the brake levers? closest I've seen was white on some peugeot mafacs...

Wouldn't I need a black one to match my RD? I'm confused.. and yeah I love the covers actually just never seen any quite like them. Odd thing, the pedals are Superbe...matches up on suntour but kinda wondering why someone would do that, and I'm trying to figure out now if this made in italy seude saddle is indeed the original sekai one.. but I don't think it is..

I do see what you mean, but I don't think I want to change out anything on this bike just yet I did get a minor driveway shakedown on it and it seems to shift flawlessly I even kinda like the look makes you make sure the components are really the same. FYI nice pile! best spare I've got atm I think is a RD V-GT Luxe I probably payed more then I should have for this bike but I don't have to do any real work on it!
