Now I know what its like to be waiting for a frame to come in the mail.

It sucks. just bought one of the centurian frames of off the pedlar site https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...nturion-frames

Chose the burgandy frame. Now I am feeling like a six year old who sent off all his box tops for some Xray glasses.

I know that its not really a special frame, but it will be the first bike I ever built that was not found on the side of the road, at a scrap yard, or a thrift store. I have been going thru my parts stash, polishing and planning. The plan is to really take my time, do a winter project, try to do it right the first time. Without scratching the paint Tonight I cleaned these up.

With the exeption of the Fuji sugino and the sistar cranks(both going on bikes for other people), I am considering all four of these. They are all pretty different. Thinking about what I have that would work with each of them, what I could try to buy or trade for, what I could use to trade for something... Its going to be a long winter.

Nice. I want that Nervar. Lol.

I definitely would not go with the Bio-Pace but that's me.

What's between the Nervar and Fuji? That one would look right.

The nervar is a pretty crank. It might be trade bait someday. As I was cleaning it the quality of the casting and finish struck me.
I really like biopace. Or rather, it does not bother me. I have the exact same crank on my team fuji that I use for group centurys and event rides. Coupled with a 32-11 cassette it works great on the rolling hills. I "never" use the 24 ring, but when I do use the 24 ring at mile 75, it lets a big fat guy spin madly up a mountain past uber fit triathaletes. Not all of them, but enough that if i promise myself a donut for each one I pass, then I get to eat several donuts. I know it looks funny, but it fits my riding style pretty well.
The middle crank is a Super Custom off of my Gran Turismo, that had possibly forty miles on it when I bought it. If I use that one, its going to get blueline derailers with some NOS suntour bar ends I have. Probably the best bet. But I also have about twelve other cranksets to polish and look at.
