What a great thread! This is Capo #2, as I got it. I do have the original steel Agrati road quill pedals, including both dust caps. (One was missing, but I kept a spare from my frist Capo.)
Agrati crankset, w/ right crank and spider forged as a single unit.
Aluminum Simplex chainrings w/ 3-bolt adaptors, 58-45 shown, 49-46 used by me. 52-48 would have been stock.
Caimi 14-22 5-speed freewheel, replaced w/ knee-friendlier SunTour (our little secret) 14-26 ultra 6-speed.
Ideale saddle.
Adjustable-reach Ambrosio stem, sort of a Major Taylor, but adjusting from the back instead of the front.
Campagnolo Gran Sport derailleurs w/ steel ball bearing pulleys.
Copper Ratshausmann badge on seat tube.
Campagnolo HF hubset.
Weinmann Vainqueur 999 centerpull brakes, since upgraded w/ salmon KoolStop pads (you knew that was coming from me).
Full butted Reynolds 531 frameset. (Bike license sticker covering 531 decal -- argh!!)
Dropouts are stamped, but rears have a second layer braze-on to give them the appearance and stiffness of forged units.
Distinctively cut Italian lugwork.

The Brooks saddle was off for this photo, but is back in place now. I rebuilt the wheels with the original hubs to run clinchers. New hoods, cables & tape. The pedals are OEM replacements, as the originals are in my treasure box. This is one sweet riding bike.
Then, Absolutely Original in Every Detail, and never been ridden:

Right out of the box:
Currently. Original stem replaced with a correct shorter stem. Bar tape is white leather, chosen to emulate the appearance of a Lejeune competing in the 1971 TdF:
The original brake cables were not Campagnolo and did not have a mushroom head on them. The cable housing length you see is as delivered...maybe a tad short but not so much with the shorter stem. The Wolber tires were not glued, but taped on the rims. Of course the tape was shot. The tires do hold air for a short time, but are not rideable IMO.

Here is my '86 Miyata 110 that I just bought. As far as I can tell, the only changes made are 1) reflectors were removed and 2) the bar tape has been replaced. Everything else, including the Miyata tires, are stock.

I just stumbled across this great thread. A nice point of reference for future visitors, so if you don't mind I'll revive it.
In this country a lot of Raleighs seem to have been bought and scarcely ridden.
This is a 1980 or so Raleigh Weekender I bought a couple of years ago. I put air in the (original) tires, added a lock, and it has since served me well as an errand bike I keep at the office in The Hague.
As bought, and at the office (the bag went to another bike):
This Raleigh Record came out of someone's shed. A little rusty, but untouched:
A 1984 Raleigh Competition 12 does not come up for sale very often. So when I found one in a nice original condition (except for the tires) at a fair price and in my size I jumped at it. And what do you know, a couple of months later a second one appears, in similarly nice condition, at half that price. Built a few months apart, one has the Weinmann brakes, as per the catalog, the other Shimano 600. As both still have the original bar tape, I'm sure the Shimanos were fitted at the factory.

Early 80's free spirit greenbiar 400 miles on it when I purchased it a couple months ago for $50. I think it hung in a garage for 30 years.

77' Fuji Special Road Racer, all original,, the original bar tape is still under the new tape. Apparently it was unboxed and not ridden even once.

A Raleigh Olympian that passed through my hands last year. Guy bought it new for his wife, she rode it two or three times, I picked it up 28 years later for $25:

I bought this '69 Raleigh SuperCourse late last year. It's all original, including tires, but excepting the Schwinn stem shifters that someone swapped in at some point.

Someone mentioned the absence of pedals in some of my pictures. When storing 180+ bicycles, pedals are often removed and stored in a box. Anyway, some neat old "as found" original steeds, or close to it, at least.
Skyway, early seventies and "as found" for five dollars. This old bike is very unusual - check it out...
Sekine MR300 "as found" except for the tires...
Bianchi Volpe "as found"...
Peugeot PSN10 "as found" Triathlon...

I have three bikes that are original. One is a Robin Hood 3 speed that is 100% original but it's missing a saddle. I'll have to get some pics of that bike soon.
I have a late 70s Davidson which I picked up second hand. I have the original receipt for the bike. Nothing has been changed. I think I'll build the bike up this summer:
I picked up a 1985 Trek 400 for my daughter recently. This bike a true garage queen. The original tires are fine on the bike as is the original cable housing. All of the parts (other than the saddle and bar tape) are original and are in great shape:
