Sometimes ya go a little wonky

I just built a wheel: Sachs Torpedo 515 coaster-brake 3-speed hub laced to a Super Champion Competition tubular rim and wrapped it in a 21mm Challenge Vulcano tire.

Now what? I mean, what do I put it on? Yes, I have the shifter and cable. I'm leaning toward putting my long-suffering Super Course back to work in a path-racer-ish incarnation. But I don't know. I really don't.

I like it! Can't wait to hear about the outcome.

Intersting! I recently had the same idea (scary) Just built up a set of wheels based around SA hub bakes and a 3spd IGH. I figure the wheel set(like yours) has both the gears and brakes....so just need to swap in the frame of choice. I built mine on the heavyside thogh, 3 cross for the front and 4 cross on the rear. I'm thinking either a U08 frame or a English loop frame will be the first victum....enough! I say slap yours on the SC and see how long a skid you can layout with that coaster brake!

DOn't know if I really want to skid that tubular. Maybe once, it's pretty old and I patched and booted two holes.

okay, maybe twice.
