I've learned that the secret to making modern bikes look less like BMXers is to manipulate the angles when photographing, and don't get too close to the subject...

That was my own first good bike store bike. I remember fondling the catalog for several moths until I had my layaway paid off and could take it home. Wasn't a real touring bike, however. Not with sidepull brakes and minimal rack mounts.
