has anyone bought from soma directly?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone here as bought anything from soma directly. There are a couple of things they have on their site that I haven't been able to find any other distributor for, but I'm a bit taken back by their shipping policies. They lock you in to purchasing the item before they tell you what it'll cost to ship and then after you've confirmed the purchase then bill you for the shipping. Anyone used them? How did it work out? Are they reasonable on shipping cost?

thanks.

I almost did, but I found a better price for the wheels I wanted from them at Upgrade Cycles in Chicago. Maybe check with them. You could try calling them if you don't find what you want on their site, I found them to be very helpful on the phone.

Their site: https://www.upgradecycle.com/shop

I ordered some of the chrome chain stay protectors and I think the shipping was reasonable, about what I expected
