I only learned of Steve Aoki's father, Rocky Aoki, about a year ago on a podcast. He was quite a character! He came to the US as a wrestler. He founded the Benihana restaurant chain and Genesis Magazine and got into offshore powerboat racing.

It may be a yoof thing, I haven't heard of a lot of them either.

Then again these days you can be a celebrity from being an 'influencer', whatever that is.

I have heard that if you ask people above and below the age of 30 "Who are the 5 most famous people in the world?", you will get very different answers. I bet that is true for 40, 50, 60 etc.
