He probably likes biking too, but he's big on flying his own aircraft and needs to stay in shape to pass annual pilot medical exam; Vintage prop singles (recreation), business twinjet (flew his and Calista's son to east-coast school from Montana during the pandemic), and helicopter (he's volunteered for local rescues).

Heard it Through the Grapevine - great song
I like this version almost as much as Marvin Gaye
I wish John Fogerty's guitar solos were as good as his voice

According to the late Roger St. Pierre, Marvin Gaye was into fast cycling.
Quote: “Marvin’s promoter in Belgium, a nice man named Freddy Coussaert, was big into cycling and was friends with the likes of Rik Van Steenbergen, Rik Van Looy and Eddy Merckx – the rumour was that Marvin had actually been out on a training run with Eddy.”

Legendary Mercedes designer Bruno Sacco died recently and I could not find a pic of him with a bike, so how about a bike on one of his cleanest works, the S124 wagon? This is a '91 300TE 4-Matic.

^^^^^^^^ And, since I can find a pic of Pete on a bike, here's the best I can do:

Their store is only about 20 miles from where my son lives in Iowa, so my wife and I stopped in when we were out there visiting. It is more of a souvenir store than an antiques shop, but they did have a lot of items on display that I remembered seeing on the show.

I thought the bike was a mini, until I read who was riding it.

Probably most in this forum know the guy on the right, but the one on the bike is also a world celebrity in his own sport.

The ORIGINAL Ronaldo. One of my favorites since back in the day.

I don't recognize the dapper chap on the right (it's not Beckham, is it?), nor on the bike. Do tell.

On the bike, famous soccer player Ronaldo.

And Mario Cipollini, one of the best sprinters ever and quite a character.

Cristiano Ronaldo? I looked up and it doesn't look like him, although all pics I see have a lot more hair.

Mario! Bicycling magazine used to award style points for things they evaluated, by how many "Marios", with his head in place of stars. IIRC, he was quoted as, "I am not only the best bike racer, but also the best looking!" or words to that effect. And y'know, he might be right, that is a handsome guy. I read about his exploits, among other things, I think lounging on the beach during climbing stages where he was poor, smoking (as seen in the pic), etc.

The great animator, painter, cartoonist, filmaker, Chuck Jones.

(As a youngster probably in Newport Beach CA. approx.1919)

As said above, he's the 'original' Ronaldo, not Cristiano Ronaldo who is younger.

This is the Ronaldo you're looking for:

Hah, reminds me of this:

"Bear Man : (deep, slow voice) You might want to head over to the Original Greaser Bob's. He notched a dugout into a hollow along the Coralon River. If you ride the river you won't fail to see it. Greaser Bob, the *Original* Greaser Bob, is hunting north of the picket wire and would not begrudge its use." (* is not just my emphasis but by the character in the movie)
- Bear Man, True Grit (2010)

Wow. Cool pic; cool bike (trike, I guess). That's probably the same beach where he and his dad used to go swimming with their cat. It's in his autobiography "Chuck Amuck."
