1983 De Rosa Professional (Team Sammontana)

I finally got some decent pictures of it.

It has an amazing ride and i love it dearly. Sadly, I'm in the middle of nursing school and have exhausted my funding. I will be finding her a new home via eBay. The auction is live if anyone is interested.

Hmmm...looks like my size. I guess I am going to have to convince my wife to skip the next few house payments...

Come to papa!

Good gracious, that is gorgeous.

I will be showing this to Mrs. Gomango.

BTW It is a repaint isn't it?

I'm 90% sure it was repainted. It has the decal of a shop that does classic restorations on it.

Won't bother me a bit.

Will show her in the morning, and beg if I have to....

I had an 83 De Rosa with the same paint scheme, but if I remember correctly it had a different (and chromed) fork crown, along with partially chromed chainstay.

That bike is an absolute stunner. And my size. And my favourite group. If I wasn't dead broke and in school too I'd be very interested.

Nice work/result on the auction.

You should do well on your Colnago as well.

Merry Christmas.

WOW - definitely more than I'd have expected. Good job man!!! That's Primato territory. I suspect a little panto goes a longggg way in price.
