3 speed man, it's been a while since you've been around. Welcome back! I look forward to seeing more of this bike, even if it doesn't have a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub.

Bikes: Giant Excursion, Raleigh Sports, Raleigh R.S.W. Compact, Motobecane? and about 20 more! OMG

Nice...I haven't seen a Kitching in years. I still have a couple of catalogs from them from the 1980's?

My dad bought this bike about 36 year ago and built it up and used it for going out with his local cycling club for about 7 years then used it on his own but then the spokes in the back wheel started to brake about 4 years ago and he got a new carbon bike but there was no space to keep it so it had to go into the attic that is why it hasn't got chain on .

Cool Kitching! I serendipitously found a Ron Kit of my own a few weeks ago. I wasn't familiar with the brand--or the man--until I got my bike home and started doing some research. I wonder who built your frame, as many Ron Kit(ching)/Milremo items were re-branded. I like the red/white/black color combo on yours. As Catnap says, treat those rust areas soon. Let's see some drive-side pics.

Bikes: 1961 Raleigh Sports

Odd set of parts, a suicide front Simplex from the 50s, a modernish slant parallelogram derailer, and everything else from the mid-70s.

So 3 speed man, do you think this is a 1970s model? It looks like it is in pretty good condition overall. Have you ridden the bike by any chance?
