Me and my bike in stone :-)

As many of you know I've been a volunteer bike patrolman for Five Rivers MetroParks for several years. Earlier this year I participated in a photo shoot for advertisement thinking I might see some pictures on their website or publications. Today I did a patrol ride and stopped at the newly completed Five Rivers pavilion and bike hub only to find out my bike and I have been etched in stone

Yep, that's me and my road bike on one of the pillars of the new pavilion What a pleasant surprise.

Didn't the ancient Greeks also sculpt their Goddesses in stone?

Congrats to you Beverly. It looks like a nice tribute to a hard working volunteer.

The bike would be about 1 1/2 stone and you are probably a petite 9.

Look at imperial weights to find out what I am about.

Good job you are single- Now you can honestly get people to come and look at your etchings (Or is that just another UK Joke)

Bev, that is SO COOL! You've become a landmark! Good for you! If I'm being honest, you look much younger in person than either of these photos here.
