I understand the seller's position. Time is of the essence, and he doesn't want to risk damaging the frame or delay the shipment.
I've not seen too many of those that wouldn't come out, with time and patience,
and you're going to repaint, anyway, so get it in and tell us how it goes.

they sent me a message, that its shipping today with a set of campy downtube shifters. better than nothing. and one less thing i have to buy.
