CCM Tour Du Canada

Does anyone know much about the handbuilt frameset "Tour Du Canada" by CCM. Any information regarding years of production etc. would be appreciated.

From: Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada - burrrrr!

Bikes: 1958 Rabeneick 120D, 1968 Legnano Gran Premio, 196? Torpado Professional, 2000 Marinoni Piuma

Tour du Canada bicycles were built from the early to mid seventies. I have had my 1975 CCM Tour du Canada for quite a while and like the bicycle a lot. This is what it looked like the day I got the bicycle...

CAUTION!: In the eighties, CCM came out with the Tour du Canada POS model, a true entry level piece of feces that tried to ride on the original Tour du Canada's name and fame...

I also happen to have a NOS original Tour du Canada decal set tucked away and I have no intention of using it...

Okay, don't mince any words now, what are your real feelings about the 80's Tour du Canada reprise?
