Thanks. It is lots of fun to drive, and kids today don't seem to know about the 914-6; they think all 914s had Type 4 VW four cylinder engines.

The only visual cues that this car is "different" are the wider tires, slightly "burped" rear fenders to accommodate the rear tires, and the dual exhaust. Otherwise, it has a pretty stock appearance. It's a big surprise to a lot of M3 drivers.

would you guys stop it....
first you drag me back to turntables, tube amps and preamps, then I start thinking
about fountain pens and watches.
Now you have me jones'in for Porsches, I mean come on.
My brother in law has a 924 and a 67 Karman in his barn (yes in a barn),
and I'm sure I could have either for the asking. Of course I'd pay more in repair
work than they're worth but...
I've always wanted a 356c

You're off the hook- That porsche family member's been dead for more than a decade. But there are some good replica/tribute cars out there for reasonable money.
