What bike should go with these wheels?
These came from my LBS's attic: a pair of Roval aero wheels. I think it's an early pair, 30 spokes on the rear, 24 on the front. The rear wheel has twice as many spokes on the drive side as on the non-drive side. Came complete with a pair of Pneudan tubes, that still hold air.
What kind of bike should these go on? Any suggestions?

A full tilt weight weenie bike for a slender person. Maybe start with a Vitus aluminum bonded frame. Huret Jubilee and Suntour Cyclone drivetrains are pretty light, and readily available....

I agree you need to build something uber wheight weinery. A Teledyne would be really slick with those. If you want to really go nuts you can look for all sorts of Omas Ti and Alloy goodies on ebay.
I believe the Roval were basically the first speciality wheels aimed at the Tri crowd. They are pretty nice but BITD most people only used them for racing. They seemd like nice wheels but I believe between the rapid switch to cassette, then Campi and Mavic offering their early light aero wheels in the early '90s I think they just could not compete and went under.

Just stick them on any Ti bike and be done with it. Lol. Putting too much thought into antiquated wheels despite how light they are.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Ti would be nice, but I haven't got a spare ti frame lying around. I do have a Vitus 992, but that is already equiped with nice Wolber aero rims. I've been looking through my stuff and the best I've come up with so far is this Herman Braun. 90-ish is my guess, and it has been repainted at some point as well as fitted with a Gazelle fork.
