Bikes: to many to list

New CL find in the stable.

Picked this up today at a steal of a price.

1983 Trek 640 is pretty much stock except for the saddle. Great shape. Just some paint work and she'll be ready for the road looking like new.

Seems like a long wheelbase comfortable bike. Used to sell them in 83 as a Trek dealer.

Okay, how many barn find posts have you had? You have sold your soul to the barn find gods. There is no other explanation.

Really nice! Great snag and a beautiful Trek!

(This is the only place you can steal something and be commended for it )

Oh, I read "find in the stable" wrong, as in "found it in a stable." Oops! You may keep your soul.

Nice find! Fairly limited production model, in a classic color scheme. Are you at liberty to divulge what a "steal of a price" is for this one?

jjhabbs, nice find for sure. Now I guess I'm going to have to start hanging out on your CL too I suppose. As you probably know, I'm always on the lookout for bikes that are good IGH candidates and this one is nearly perfect for that purpose.
