New CL find in the stable.

New CL find in the stable.
Picked this up today at a steal of a price.
1983 Trek 640 is pretty much stock except for the saddle. Great shape. Just some paint work and she'll be ready for the road looking like new.
Seems like a long wheelbase comfortable bike. Used to sell them in 83 as a Trek dealer.

Not in a barn. bought it from a guy whose father who purchased it as part of a storage locker. He was pretty bike savey. He wasn't into road bikes though

As you probably know, I'm always on the lookout for bikes that are good IGH candidates and this one is nearly perfect for that purpose. Thread
