Sweet NOS M71s...L'Eroica or no?

I gotta brag on this one, I bid $110 on these thinking "no way I'll win this." Sure enough, they're mine. NOw the question arises; there's a specific L'Eroica toe strap exemption for M71s, which are period correct for my '79 'Nago Super.

I have to admit, the cool points for using period correct clipless has me thinking about it...but 220k on gravel with M-71s? I dunno....

The seller had me at "Death Pedals!" If I survived it would be something to brag on....

Bikes: blue ones.

Yes I'd rock them on my 70's weight weenie bike.

I dunno. When I do gravel rides, I like pedals from which I can bail quickly, no questions asked.
