Ya, usually you can get more with Schwinn Balloners but the quality of the rust is not as good

The ad was interesting- I recall the name of Jackie Simes, who was around I think when I started in 1971- Also used to race at Nutley each year for a time- Memorial Day weekend- Allentown on saturday, Nutley and then Sommerville on Monday. Out of all the races- wish I could have won Somerville- it was my favorite- I'm a ham, and THAT's a crowd- about 15,000 they used to say in the '70's- Is she still there?
I got a fourth or fifth at Allentown one year- the hilly course was better for me than the 50 mile flat Sommerville- where sprinter Roger Young won a handful of times, and it was usually a massive field sprint. 100K Nutley used to break up a bit- I had trouble just hanging in the field mostly- watched Allen Kingsbury take TWO or Three laps out of it about 1978- the first with a smaller break he then soloed away from to lap again- most amazing performance I ever personally witnessed
Was wondering if the frame was ever handled by multi-sprint titled Jack Disney- but unlikely- he was a west coaster
