I've been using this same orange tire as a spare for years. It always reminds me that my spare is mounted and I need to swap it back to spare service. I've also got a steel tire spoon stuck in there to help me get the flat tire off the rim.

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures and ideas on how to fold and carry a tubular tire.

DiabloScott, great tutorial on the folding technique. I tried it and it works great.

Iab & JohnDThompson, thanks for posting pictures of your Cinelli tire bag. I wish I could get my hands on one of those. I tried to copy that leather bag with some buck skin leather scraps and my wife's sewing machine. A pic posted below. Obviously I need to dial in the size and proportion better. I think I will lace a leather tie string at the top and call it good. I am not sure if my wife is going to let me do this again. She was grumbling something about ruining her good sewing machine by sewing leather.
