NOS Centurion bikes? Frames? Any info?

No affiliation

Was poking around on Bay area CL for next weekend's visit and came across listings for 61cm NOS Centurion bikes, and even NOS framesets 61cm. Look nie in pics. Some sort of freight find?

Anyone have info? Not my size but would make a great starting point for a project if legit.

Wow, that's just too cool. I'd think even the original box would be a treasure for a Centurion enthusiast. The box is more rare than the bike.

Yeah, I think if I had $400 sitting around I'd opt for the bike in the box still packed and just store it.

Bikes: -1973 Motobecane Mirage -197? Velosolex L'Etoile -'71 Raleigh Super Course

Citizen Chain has those, I believe. They are very nice frames, very lively but quite stable and predictable.

Creme Brulee you so right about the short top tubes. I actually discovered why that is via their brochure from 83. The higher in the range, the longer the top tube.
