The Head Badge Close Up thread,

Post you close up pics of your head badges. Any will do, but please restrict them to close ups, and shot as near as head on as you are able. I'll start. Here's this one. And my other one can be seen over there on the left.

That's exactly what I thought.

The headbage on my '83 Waterford Paramiont is from a Schwinn Superior. It came with the frame and I decided to mount it in a bit of tongue-in-cheek. Should keep anyone who looks close enough guessing.

For what it's worth, there is a Flickr group devoted to head badges. It contains several thousand pictures.
