You might be able to find date codes on the back of components, which can give a clue to when the bike was produced.

Bikes: 1959 Capo Modell Campagnolo; 1960 Capo Sieger (2); 1962 Carlton Franco Suisse; 1970 Peugeot UO-8; 1982 Bianchi Campione d'Italia; 1988 Schwinn Project KOM-10;

It is probably of early 1970s vintage. Do let us know if you find any date codes on the cranks or derailleurs, and the frame serial number may help, if anyone has a Huffy database.

Bikes: 1972 Columbia Tourist Expert III, Columbia Roadster

It's from the 1980s. Huffy used a metal dork disk throughout the 1970s and into the early 80s. The first number of the serial number after the letter prefix will be the last digit of the year, ie. 6 = 1986.
