I'm not sure which "other question" you are looking for. But I'll comment on the tire models. The TourGuard model of the Pasela has an aramid (Kevlar) belt to aid in flat protection. It makes the tread a bit stiffer, the tire a bit heavier, and the price significantly higher. All my bikes except two have Pasela TGs. I've had a few flats but considering how much mileage they've accumulated I'd have to say the TG belt works pretty well. We've been running 32mm Pasela TGs on our vintage tandem (we aren't a heavy team, only 270lbs total, plus 40lbs for the bike) and after 1800 miles have had none. (Knock on wood, say several prayers...)

Two bikes don't have Pasela TGs. One has wheels I bought from a BF member and they came with Gatorskins mounted, also supposedly a flat-resistant tire. The other is because I consciously traded flat protection for performance and so sprung for some Vittorias.
