This came in today for me from Germany......

A limited edition 1:12 scale model of the 1970 Porsche 917K as Driven in LeMans by Redman and Siefert. Released in very limited numbers to coincide with this year's LeMans 24 hour race.
humongous model as evident on the last pic where I included a Maillard Spidel CXC pedal next to it for scale. It is over a foot long and must be at least a couple of pounds.
I consider the 917K as one of the most beautiful race cars ever!
Collecting classic LeMans race car models from the 70's is one of my other uhmmm....passions.....

VO Grand Cru 50.4 crankset. 46/30t. 175 arms. Received and mounted on my Torpado, haven’t had a chance to adjust FD or take a mounted pic.
Here is the stock photo for reference. I made an offer to Wheel & Sprocket, and they countered with a dec my price, so I pulled the trigger.

I rarely get anything bicycle related in the post but the last couple of weeks produced some things I did and didn't need...

I have more suspended leather saddles than I need but I just could not pass up this Brooks, a NOS piece that will, most likely, find a home on my Rabeneick...

The day after I bought the saddle (emptying my PayPal account) a Stronglight Competition showed up at a very low buy it now price. So, I bought it for the Rabeneick, The crank set is cottered and period correct for the late fifties bike...

And best of all, one of our forum members satisfied a great need for my Legnano, the one that has a sloppy chain and doesn't shift worth one single pooey-stinko. Anyway, great thanks to KenNC for the perfect stoppers for my Gran Premio...

Wahoo! Got me a Raleigh wheel cover from a very generous BF member. Cleaning time then on my SC it goes. Love the extra bits that were included with the cover.
