Had one of those back in the 80's. Exactly the same trainer. Only way I could keep cycling in the cold Wisconsin winters..... I think I left it in my brother's garage attic when I moved West. I should ask him if he still has it....

Nothing in the mail today but I did pick up for a friend - a 'BRAND NEW' old stock 1991 Miyata 1000 Elevation atb, Tange, splined / triple butted stuff and Shimano LX drivetrain, priced for a buck n' 1/2 +tax. The Miyata even came with brand new tires because the OEM were dry rotting. From the same dealer / bike shop where I picked up the 'brand new' '85 Ochsner.

I got this frame in a trade this weekend. I built it up yesterday with all the components from the previous (traded) frame. It all went on perfectly. I need new bars and gear cables, so you see it 95% finished.

Got this SunTour Le Tech front derailleur in today to go with the rear I picked up a few weeks ago. Looks to be in great condition under the dirt that's on it. I doubt it's seen very many miles. They will make a nice pair being that their production dates are only one month apart. The front is July of 1983 and the rear is August of 1983.

The lack of tracking updates was making me nervous, but after 38 days, it turns out that free shipping from India does work!

I ordered a 7' cable lock from Amazon, which came today. Rather than coiling it up and putting it in a small box, they folded it once and put it in a 4' long box. Still laughing.

Got in some general cable housing for future rebuilds, as well as (a) chain. I probably should order about 15 more with the rate I'm finding interesting bikes for sale!
