Bianchi jersey from @Malcala in great shape. I had avoided getting a Bianch Jersey since, well, I didn’t have a Bianchi. Now that the Giro has arrived, serendipity!

I currently have Stampede Pass (32mm wide) EL tires on my Monti Special. They ride quite nicely. I've only got 400-500 miles on them so far, but no flats so far. The Bon Jon's will replace the Stampede's, but it might take a while to get around to it. I think I might need to trim my rear fender slightly. I will have to get up the courage to snip a brand new fender first...

It will likely hang loosely then which is how I prefer (not a tight jersey guy).

An acquaintance gave me a $25 531C frameset the other day, and I've been spending like mad on a bike I didn't need. Quite the haul today. eBay provided the new (cheap) Tange headset and Triomphe crankset (with rare 40t ring ). Got the Campy Athena levers from the bin at the lbs and replaced the black hoods with white(ish) ones.

Received half my order of Kool Stop pads and holders for some Campy brakes.
An expensive*, boneheaded move, because the nuts don't fit in the arm slots. I could try a Dremel tool, but I'll probably go back to eBay for the right Kool Stop pads for these shoes.
* $54 for 4 holders and 8 pads

Who is the tool now?
I got another old bicycle to fix up. There is always something that you have not encountered before.
What are you going to do with a TA crankset? First you have to remove the crank bolt caps which are seized. Then my crank puller doesn't fit.
I do not live in a land of vintage European imported bicycles and components.

1977 Colnago Super
Not in the post, but picked up. 1977 Colnago Super. PO was original owner, and had converted it to a fixie. Cannot believe he accepted my offer. Very generous. Frame is straight except for minor head and down tube bulges from a garage and roof rack mishap.

Jdawg,
Take all of that Campy stuff off of it and make a daily rider out of it. With the right batch of miscellaneous parts applied it can become a great fall bike. Smiles, MH
