Is it an Alan or Nishiki
Trying to find more information on what I have. It has Alan and Nishiki names on carbon frame with alum lugs estimated late 1980s. Information under frame: Made in Italy / BREV ALAN / 24 2829 / 3 degree 56x56. Does anyone know anything about this bike? How do I find its age. The serial # doesn't tell me much.

It's a Nishiki but ALAN built the frame. ALAN supplied frames for a number of other bike manufacturers. Nice Bike.

In a word, "yes".
According to a recent thread by lugged-carbon fan Chombi, Nishiki sold rebadged Alan Carbonios in 1986.
I'd snap up one of these in a hot minute.
