Looking for a seat... has anyone tried Zimbale?

https://www.zimbalenorthamerica.com/Z.../zs-narrow.htm

Looking for a seat for my 80's Moto. I don't really want to spend more than $75. Has anyone tried the Zimbale? Or the Velo Orange? Other suggestions?

I would be tempted to try out these Brooks copies if only they would come up with a model that has Ti rails.
The Brooks TI railed versions of the Swallow and Swift saddles are just so way overpriced for what they are.....

I bought my ti Swallow used for $150.

Looked like it had been ridden a handful of times.

Heck, the previous owner shipped it in its original Brooks box.

I'll stick to the original Brooks brand though, not these copies.

I've seen too many at the shop all sacked out after 500 miles.

@op, post a wtb on the local Mpls. CL.

That's where I found my last Brooks Swift for $75.

What is the most anatomically correct "vintage" saddle? My LBS guy says the Selle San Marco Regal is probably the best option.

He recommended the Specialized Romin Evo as a truly correct minimalisticly designed saddle though, and it's cheaper. I just don't want my bike to look too "fitnessy", although that is what I use it for. The Phenom Expert in white looks nice, if I was going to go with Specialized.

He was not a fan of Brooks. He says they are not good for your body when new and leave brown stains on your pants.

I like my 70's Avocet Touring II. The bumps provide a place for the sit bones to take all the pressure.

I thought I had heard it all.

Pm the name of the shop in town here in Twin Cities. I want to make sure to avoid them.

The only time I've seen brown on a rider's pants was a rocket scientist that had just used Kiwi polish.

He decided to go for a nice long ride right after this task. Came into the shop for a rag.

What a maroon.

Who are these guys, cycling in white pants? I last saw that in Schwinn catalogs in the 70s.

I picked up one of those this spring in black. It was so uncomfortable at first, but I toughed it out. And now its getting really nice. I can ride It comfortably without padded shorts. Good Buy!

I have one of these on a bike I commute on:

https://www.crowcycleco.com/gyes/gyes...g-comfort.html

It replaced a somewhat old Brooks B-17N after the rails on the Brooks broke. It has been on the bike about a year, during which time it has been outside 24/7. It was comfy from the start, and is still comfy. I got it instead of a VO or Zimbale or Cardiff, as those are just rebranded Gyes saddles anyways, so why not just get one that proudly has Gyes stamped on it for less money.
