You're missing out on a fun time behind the wood shed.

On mine, all the date codes are Jun-Aug 1988, except one 1987 caliper.
Serial number is 90440365. The leading 9 is not well struck and could almost be mistaken for a zero.
No markings on the steerer.

More date codes: one crankarm = '91, the headset = '92

T-Mar, can you confirm that my Miele Condor is an '86 since you have the catalog? It has Suntour Sprint components which would have been an upgrade. Also, where did the Condor fall in the hierarchy? Thanks.

It's a 1987 model, not a 1986, 100% certain. It was upgraded from Shimano Light Action SIS. Position was 13th out of 16 road models. Please reciprocate with the serial number. TIA.

T-Mar, thanks for the info. My bike had a few other upgrades besides the Suntour Sprint derailleurs. It has Suntour SL-IP00-B (Sprint/Superbe) DT shifters, Sansin sealed hubs and Ambrosio 19 Extra Elite rims. The serial number is 67137.
Is there someplace where I can get more info about Miele bikes and their hierarchy besides the brochure on My Ten Speeds?
I will be thinning the herd next spring and this bike will probably go.

Miele was most popular from 1986-1996. I have literature covering eight of those years. BTW, the wheelset matchs the specs.

Thanks for the hub/rim info. I was basing my info on the brochure on My Ten Speeds which identified Suzue S/F hubs and Ambrosio BO8 23mm rims.

Well, it's pretty obvious from the paint alone that the Condor in that catalog does not match yours. I identified the years for all the CCM, Miele and Sekine catalogs on that site and supplied them to Randy but he never updated them.
