Nervar Crankset

Nervar Crankset
Over the weekend I attended the Milwaukee Bike Swap and picked up an '84 Gitane Interclub, sans wheelset. According to the '84 Gitane catalog everything appears to be correct except the crankset and the DT shifters. The Simplex DT shifters were replaced with Simplex barend shifters and the Stronglight 104 crankset has been replaced with a Nervar set.

I know very little about French components............I am aware that Stronglight cranks require a particular crank puller. Can I pull the Nervar cranks with a standard puller or do they require a special puller as well? I don't want to replace them..................just clean them and service the BB.

I have both Star and 50.4 versions, and all took the standard crank puller.

I like the Nerver for it's quality and appearance, which I used a Campy puller to remove the cranks.
I put the Nerver Cranks on my wife's Peugeot Mixtie:

Cheers!
