My new Falcon..

Haven't properly photographed things yet, but here are a few teasers:

It's rather cobbled up right now, but I am excited..

Falcons are cool; I like the graphics. Besides, it's orange. How can you go wrong?

The closer you look, the rougher things seem. I am thinking either fixed/free or some kind of IGH..

Interesting that the front dropouts are Campy, the rear Cyclo! I saw that on another one, and thought it must be a replacement fork. I guess not!

I have mine set up with a Sturmey Archer S5 hub, Soma Lauterwasser bars, Weinmann side pull brakes. I've been commuting on it for the last few months. It's a fun bike.

The orange paint should be easy enough to match and touch up.

Interesting to see the seat tube measures about 53cm, but the top tube stretches to about 57 cm. This may fit me after all!

I need some help with saddle/bar tape combos. I am getting Soma Sparrows (https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4144/5...a47786c5_z.jpg) and will run them turned down with Dia Compe inverse levers (or maybe Tektro rx 4.1 instead). Housing will be white (or maybe brown) and tires will be Pasela Tourguards.

I have a bit of the VO sew-on elkhide covers (in espresso/honey) that would work with a Brooks, but I'm not sure if the orange paint/honey saddle works in this case.

I could do a white or brown Selle San Marco Rolls too, with white/brown Newbaums cloth.

I am leaning more towards the white/brown combinations than anything else. Thoughts?

That's a cool seat stay wrappy thing.

Almost done updates:

I'm leaning towards brown/white Newbaum's wrap and white housing. I know this build might not be everyone's cuppa, but I think it's looking pretty sweet!
