Thanks, That looks interesting, thank goodness I can temper my enthusiasm as almost all the food imaged is not on my menu.

Pearl orange and black with chrome will always be my favorite. Some day before I die, I'll get my hands on a Volare in my size, but this was a good consolation:

Releigh Coffee comes after, Motobecane red+black, and then the Peugeots I've seen in gold and purple were absolutely STUNNING.

Moulton had a nice eye for color schemes with those Fusos. I hadn't seen the gray with red before. I saw a similar one with that same gunmetal grey paired with a beautiful lavender that was really striking. IMHO (and just ignore if you disagree ), I think there's just a little too much red accents. I'd consider another bar tape color to balance it out. Walked away from a good deal on a Fuso a few years ago and I'm still kicking myself for it. Nice bike!

Very clever the way your Raleigh has been camouflaged to look like my old Motobecane Grand Record (which sadly died in an accident).

It is indeed a Motobecane Grand Record. I don't know what I was thinking when I typed in the name of the bike. LOL!! I just edited the name.

Sorry to hear about what happened to yours.

Bikes: Cheltenham-Pedersen racer, Boulder F/S Paris-Roubaix, Varsity racer, '52 Christophe, '62 Continental, '92 Merckx, '75 Limongi, '76 Presto, '72 Gitane SC, '71 Schwinn SS, etc.

Joe's 1959 Legnano in the acid green color is way up there, and Centurion Semi-Pro's had beautiful pearl metallic colors to die for, but this one caught my trigger finger to the tune of $80 and a road trip because, well, it caught my eye (and because the frame was big enough).

It seems pretty good for a sub-$100 bike, no?

And did anyone post a picture of a Super Course MkII yet? I always liked those, and was even lucky enough to own one back in '75 or so.
